OUR SERVICES

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a prosthesis that replaces a missing tooth. Implants are made from titanium and are anchored into the jawbone and serves to replace the natural tooth root.

Full Arch Replacement

A full-arch replacement is a procedure ideal for patients that have suffered from severe tooth loss over the course of their lives. It uses dental implants and screw-retained prostheses to recreate the functionality and appearance of a full mouth of teeth.

Gum Grafting

Gum grafting refers to the procedure chosen by your periodontist to protect your teeth from the damaging effects of gum recession, or you may choose to have one to improve the appearance of your smile.

Dentures & Veneers

Veneers cover the visible, front surfaces of your teeth and transforms your appearance by covering tooth stains, chips, and other noticeable damage. Dentures replace missing teeth while providing the same esthetic benefits as veneers.

Osseous Surgery

Osseous surgery is a periodontal procedure that is also known as pocket depth reduction. Scaling and root planing therapy is an effective treatment that targets the early stage of periodontal disease, while osseous surgery treats later stage periodontal disease.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening here at the clinic usually works much faster than teeth whitening at-home. In addition to the stronger peroxide solution that's used in dental offices, heat or light or both can be used to speed up and intensify the whitening effects of professional treatment.

Dr. Park provides periodontal and implant dentistry services including : Dental Implants, All-On-X, Full and Partial Arch Rehabilitation, Replacing Missing Teeth, Gum Grafting, Laser Periodontal Treatment, CO2 Laser De-Pigmentation, Periodontal Maintenance, Cone Beam CT Scanning, Prophylaxis (Teeth Cleaning), Bruxism Treatments, Scaling and Root Planing, Piezosurgery, Bone Grafting, Bite Adjustment, Reduction Surgery, Guided Bone and Tissue Regeneration, Concentrated Growth Factor Therapy, Bar Attachment Denture, Cosmetic Periodontal Surgery, Oral Cancer Exam

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a prosthesis that replaces a missing tooth. Implants are made from titanium and are anchored into the jawbone and serves to replace the natural tooth root. Over the next 3-6 months, the jawbone then grows around the implant and integrates it into the jaw. Next, a post (called an abutment) is connected into the implant and a porcelain crown (replacement tooth) is attached to the abutment. Now you have your tooth again!

Dental implants look exactly like your natural teeth. Plus, because they are anchored into the jawbone, you don’t need to worry about what you eat or ever getting a cavity on it. Just like natural teeth, they can get bone loss around them over time and will need regular dental cave and monitoring to prevent that.

Benefits of Dental Implants

Increased Comfort

Dental implants provide a secure fit and permanent results while restoring your ability to eat all of your favorite foods and speak clearly.

Permanent

Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing missing teeth and do not have to be replaced or removed for cleaning.

Low Maintenance

Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing missing teeth and do not have to be replaced or removed for cleaning. They function just like your natural teeth, so you will need to care for them by brushing and flossing as you normally do.

Better Quality

of Life

With implants, you do not need to worry about glues, adhesives, and pastes associated with dentures. Dental implants can reduce the risk of gum irritation and also improve bone health. They are designed to restore your oral health and enhance your smile.

Dentures & Implants Working Together

Benefits of Implant Supported Dentures

Cost

Because this treatment requires just four/six implants per arch, it is much more affordable than placing an entire row of implants.

Convenience

Replacement teeth can typically be placed during the same appointment as the implants.

Bone Graft-Free

Two of the four implants are placed at special angles in the back of the jaw to make the best use of available jawbone. This often eliminates the need for bone grafting.

Quicker Healing

Atraumatic and minimally invasive surgical protocols improve the healing of surgical sites with less bleeding and inflammation.

Procedures

ALL-ON-X

(4 or 6)

If you’re ready to enjoy a long-term solution to replace your missing teeth, invest in All-on-X because they can last for a lifetime. 4 or 6 dental implant posts are strategically placed into the thickest parts of the jaw. This can prevent the need for bone grafting.

Ball Attachment Overdentures

Two implants are placed in the lower jaw, onto which a denture snaps into place. This option is more stable than traditional, removable dentures; however there will still be some movement. Sore spots can develop if food is caught underneath. Periodic appointments ensure proper adjustment.

Individual Implants

Of course, there is always the option to have each missing tooth replaced by an individual dental implant. The benefits of this are increased stability, preservation of the jawbone and a natural look. However, the process is the most costly and time-consuming.

Osseous Surgery

Osseous surgery is a periodontal procedure that is also known as pocket depth reduction. Scaling and root planing therapy is an effective treatment that targets the early stage of periodontal disease, while osseous surgery treats later stage periodontal disease. The procedure involves reshaping the bone and periodontal pockets that are damaged by infection and may be effective when the gums have not responded to localized antibiotic therapy or periodontal cleanings.

A periodontist may recommend osseous surgery when deep pockets have developed around teeth. Ideally, the gums should adhere tightly around the teeth. This prevents bacteria from penetrating through the gum line. When toxic deposits from bacteria have weakened the gums, the soft tissue pulls away from teeth. At first, the pockets that result from this recession are relatively shallow. They may be cleaned at home or with a minor professional cleaning. Over time, pockets caused by gum recession deepen, providing more space in which bacteria can accumulate. By reducing the depth of these pockets, osseous surgery can help reverse gum recession and prevent further damage to the periodontal ligament and bone that support teeth.
